How to earn the Top DJ badge
The rules are simple and the same for everyone. No jury, no application, no payment. The platform counts your reviews and calculates your average.
20 or more reviews
The badge appears as soon as you have collected 20 client reviews.
Average of 4.5 or higher
Your review average is at least 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Awarded automatically
Reach the threshold and the badge appears instantly. Nothing to apply for. In addition, party.dj can award the badge manually to a DJ who proves, with verifiable evidence (such as an external review profile or booking history), a track record at least equivalent to that threshold. We re-assess this at least yearly; once you have 20 reviews on the platform, only the automatic route counts.
Not for sale
No plan or payment gets you the badge. Only great reviews count.
The badge is instantly visible on your profile page and on your card in the search results. Hovering over it reveals the criteria behind the badge.
Nothing extra required from you
Collecting reviews happens by itself. You play, the platform asks your clients about their experience.
You play your gig
The booking runs through your dashboard. You take care of a great party, nothing more.
Your client automatically receives a review request
A few days after the party, your client automatically gets an invitation to leave a review.
The review lands on your profile
Your client rates you, writes a review and adds their own party photos. Everything appears on your profile page.
